For more than 50 years, Flinders University has been creating inspiring leaders who are empowered to change our world for the better.

The university comprised of six colleges offering a broad spectrum of courses. The College of Business, Government and Law enjoys a reputation for academic excellence and innovative thinking, encouraging collaboration, and development of ideas in business, commerce, politics and public policy, law, criminology and international relations.

A strategic approach

Flinders University had previously run two campaigns each year—semester one and mid-year intake. Identifying a missed opportunity to capture potential students searching for course and career information between these campaign periods, the College of Business, Government and Law engaged Online Path to devise and implement an ‘Always On’ campaign to run year round.

We strategised a search advertising campaign to target an audience who were actively interested and searching for information about Flinders University courses. By running an ‘Always On’ campaign we were able to optimise the campaign month on month over a sustained period to ensure the campaign was reaching the right people at the right time with the right message.

Data driven results

The College of Business, Government and Law reaped the benefits of our detailed knowledge of search campaigns and pay-per-click advertising with results only getting better month by month.

By leveraging the benefits of an ‘Always On’ campaign, we were able to increase search impressions by 68%, conversions by 201% and conversion rate by 236% over a four month period, all while decreasing cost-per-acquisition by 72%.
