Childhood Cancer Association

Online Path believes in supporting our local community and businesses whenever possible. We are, after all, proudly South Australian. One of the ways Online Path shows this support is through our partnership with the Childhood Cancer Association.

Online Path is a proud supporter of Childhood Cancer Association.

The Childhood Cancer Association

This amazing organisation was formed in 1982 by a group of parents of children with cancer. Fast forward to today, they are one of Australia’s key Childhood Cancer support organisations. They provide support to children living with cancer and their families in:

  • South Australia
  • Northern Territory
  • Country Victoria
  • Country New South Wales

In the future the Childhood Cancer Association hopes to extend its services and provide support to every child with cancer, and their family Australia wide. The support they provide is varied depending on the needs of the families. All of these services (and more) are provided free of charge:

  • Counselling
  • Hospital visits
  • Sibling and family support
  • Accommodation for country and interstate families
  • Respite accommodation
  • Financial assistance
  • Bereavement support

The Childhood Cancer Association relies solely on donations from the community to provide these services and support.

The Ultimate Pie Challenge

You may have seen or heard about Childhood Cancer Association’s latest fundraising campaign “Ultimate Pie Challenge” on the TV or radio. It’s easy to participate in this hilarious fundraising challenge! You just accept the challenge to smoosh a cream pie in your face. Then jump online to share your video, make your donation and nominate 3 others to do the same! On a diet? Don’t worry! You don’t have to smoosh a pie in your face! All you have to do is go to the Ultimate Pie Challenge website and show your support for the wonderful service that the Childhood Cancer Association provide to our community.

Google Ad Grant

Being an eligible not for profit organisation, the Childhood Cancer Association is a recipient of a Google Ad Grant. Every month Google generously provides in-kind Google Ads Advertising to the Childhood Cancer Association. This allows them to promote and market their organisation and services online. Online Path manages this Ad Grant to help the Childhood Cancer Association promote their fundraising, attract donations, recruit volunteers, build awareness and connect them with families in need of their services.

Are you, or is someone you know involved in a not for profit charity with DGR status? Online Path can help with your Google Ad Grant application, campaign set up and account management. Find out more about the Google Ad Grant.
